Ian King has had a long career in catering and is passionate about food.
He strives to use local produce wherever possible.

In 2008 he made time to visit over 300 local small producers, farmers and cheese makers in the Yorkshire Area.

During these visits he found some interesting produce and has incorporated these finds in to our menus.

It is also our policy to avoid using genetically modified foods as far as we are able.

We offer a full planning service and are able to create a menu for any occasion. Our menus and prices are intended as a guide and can be adapted to meet with your personal needs and budget.

Something Different?

Themed parties is always popular and we are able to create authentic menus to compliment any function.

Recently we have catered in the following styles:

To make using this menu package as easy as possible the prices given include the following:

•  VAT @ 20%
•  Loan of all necessary Crockery and Cutlery
•  Quality Paper Napkins
•  Table Linen for Buffet Tables
•  Waiting Staff [Some menus can be delivered without serving staff – Delivery only price is given below or next to the main price].
•  Delivery / collection is included in the Post Code Area’s HG1 & HG2. A delivery / collection charge may be applied for deliveries outside these post code areas.
•  For functions under 30 Covers there will be a 10% Cover Charge added to the costs.

Billing Transparency

•  Please note: Any venue commission Kings Catering Company is charged when doing your function will be added onto your final bill.


Bar Staff and Wine Waiters can also be arranged at £30.00 per hour inc VAT @ 20% – Charges apply from 8.00am – Midnight. At other times hourly rate will be charged at time and a half.

Some venues may require staff to travel some distance in these instances a travelling time and a fuel allowance will be added to the costs.

Marquee functions also attract extra costs. Large equipment hire – Ovens, Hot-cupboards, Refrigeration.
